Tuesday 27th March 2018
10am - 12:30pm
Get better acquainted with your camera and master the art of wildlife photography with published artist Tom Whiley.
Learn about the art and science behind image composition, the concept of exposure and how to use light and colour to influence the overall visual appeal of your shot.
You'll look at image design, how to add interest and frame the subject. You will also and have a chance to review different lenses from macro to wide angle depending on whether you want to capture a colourful invertebrates or a raptor in flight.
There'll be a chance to go out on the reserve to put theory into practice with time afterwards to view your images and discuss digital-editing techniques such as cropping and framing.
